About This Site
Optimized for Internet Explorer
This site is best viewed using Microsoft® Internet Explorer 5.0 (I.E.) or higher, at a screen resolution of 800 x 600, with the text size set at "Medium." (To adjust the text size in I.E., go to the "View" menu and select "Text Size" then select "Medium.") This site also is compatible with Netscape® 7.1 or higher.
Favorites and Bookmarks
Because this site does not use “frames," each individual page can easily be saved to “Favorites” (Internet Explorer) or “Bookmarks” (Netscape).
Navigation
Major FASB activities and collections of related information are displayed as unique navigation items listed at the left side of each page (Left Navigation Bar), across the top of each page (Top Horizontal Navigation Bar), and at the end of each page (Lower Horizontal Navigation Bar). As you visit individual pages you will notice items at the far right of each page (Right Navigation Bar) listing major links associated with that particular Section.
Downloadable Files
All downloadable items on the FASB website are Adobe PDF files. Adobe PDF (Portable Document Format) is a safe, cross-platform document file format. With Adobe® Acrobat® Reader®, you can read and print these files easily.
Search Function
A "Search" window is located at the upper right corner on each page of this site. Also, a "Search" link leading to additional search options is located on the dark blue horizontal bar (Top Horizontal Navigation Bar) at the top of each page.
Faster Response
To facilitate quick response times for each page, the site has been designed using very few graphics.
Links to The FASB Website
If you create a link at your website to the FASB's website, you may not display the FASB logo as a link icon or represent the logo in any other form.
Updates to the FASB Website
The navigation link Recent Additions (the first item in the Left Navigation Bar) lists certain website categories of FASB activities with the most recent date ("Last Updated") of changes to those sections.
