Summary of Board Decisions

Summaries of Board decisions are available, in most cases, by the end of a Board meeting day as a convenience to the Board's constituents. Summaries of Board decisions will remain on this page for only a short time, until they become part of the official minutes of a Board meeting. After that they can be accessed through the Online Public Reference Room. Conclusions reported in the Summary are tentative and may be changed or modified at future Board meetings. Decisions become final only after a formal written ballot to issue an Accounting Standards Update.

Notice of Open Meetings

Meetings of the FASB, its task forces, and other FASB groups and committees normally are open to public observation, under the Board’s Rules of Procedure. Unless otherwise announced, meetings are held in the Board meeting room at the FASB offices.

Summary of Board Decisions and Notice of Open Meetings are available by email at no charge. This service also provides email notifications for last-minute meeting changes, recently issued documents, and special webcast series information.

  • You should immediately receive a message asking you to confirm that you want to subscribe to the service.
