Teri Yohn

Teri Yohn received her doctorate in accounting from Indiana University. She obtained her professional experience in accounting at Coopers and Lybrand and Arthur Andersen. Dr. Yohn joined the faculty at Indiana University in 2007 as a PricewaterhouseCoopers Fellow and faculty member. Dr. Yohn has extensive service and leadership experience. She is the current President of the Finance and Reporting Section of the AAA. During 2005-2006, Professor Yohn was an Academic Fellow at the Securities and Exchange Commission. Dr. Yohn has focused her research on capital markets, financial accounting, and financial statement analysis. She has published her work in Journal of Accounting Research, The Accounting Review, and Review of Accounting Studies. Her research has investigated why small or private companies prepare financial statements and the benefits of audited financial statements for these organizations.
