Suzanne Q. Bielstein, Director–Planning and Support

As Director of Policy and Administration for the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), Ms. Bielstein’s primary responsibility is helping the FASB maintain and improve its due process policies and related operating procedures. Among other administrative matters, she is responsible for development of the FASB operating budget and serves as FASB staff liaison to the Foundation’s post-implementation review function and its Standards-Setting Process Oversight Committee.

Ms. Bielstein joined the FASB in 1999, serving in various other capacities including a six-year stint as director of major projects and technical Activities.

Before joining the FASB, Ms. Bielstein spent five years in senior financial management roles with Caradon plc. Before joining Caradon, Ms. Bielstein was an Audit Partner in the Boston office of the public accounting firm, KPMG.
