Teresa S. Polley
President and Chief Operating Officer

Teresa S. Polley was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) in May 2008, several months after being named Interim COO. Ms. Polley brings 20 years of experience with the FAF and the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) to this position, serving from 1999-2007 as Executive Director of Advisory Groups for the FASB. In that role, she was primary liaison between the Board and its constituent organizations that provide input into its decision-making processes. From 1990 to 1999, Ms. Polley served as Controller of the FAF. She joined the FASB staff in 1987 as a Technical Associate. Previously, Ms. Polley was a Senior Accountant with Arthur Andersen & Co.
