Financial Accounting Research System—Demonstration
Version
The FASB's Financial Accounting Research System Demo (FARS Demo)
has all the features and functionality of the full version. It
contains selected sections from the full version of FARS. Please
note that these sections may have subsequently been either
superseded or amended.
System Requirements
Intel®-compatible 486 processor or greater; 8MB of RAM; Microsoft® Windows™ 2000 or XP; Fixed-disk
(hard drive) containing 10 megabytes of free disk space; VGA monitor; and a
mouse or other Microsoft-compatible input device.

Download Instructions
- Select Download Demo link below.
- Save the farsdemo.exe file to your hard drive.
- To run the Installation routine, open the
directory you placed the file in, and double click on the
downloaded file (farsdemo.exe).
