Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council (FASAC)
FASAC Survey
Part of FASAC’s role is to advise the Board on future project priorities and on possible new agenda items. Historically, a mechanism that FASAC has used to facilitate that process is a periodic survey. In light of the anticipated completion of certain major projects (such as revenue recognition), soliciting stakeholders’ views about the FASB’s future agenda will be helpful and timely. We encourage the participation of all FASAC members, FASB members, other FASB advisory group members (Investors Technical Advisory Committee, Not-for-Profit Advisory Committee, Small Business Advisory Committee, and the Private Company Council) in this year’s survey. Other interested stakeholders also are welcome to participate either in the short-form or the full survey. All responses to the survey will be summarized and comments made in the survey will be compiled, providing significant value as the Board moves forward. In order to accumulate the response information more efficiently, respondents are asked to provide their responses using the electronic forms in the links below (text can be copied and pasted into the electronic forms). Responses are requested by Thursday, May 30.
