Jeffrey J. Diermeier was appointed chairman of the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) Board of Trustees in October 2012. The FAF is responsible for the oversight of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB).
In his role as FAF chairman, Mr. Diermeier focuses primarily on strategic initiatives, provides vision and leadership to the Board of Trustees in achieving the FAF’s oversight activities, consults regularly with the FASB and GASB chairs, and works closely with the FAF president.

Jennison Associates LLC
Dennis Kass joined Jennison Associates in January 2003. He served as the firm’s chairman and chief executive officer until January 2012, and was its non-executive chairman of the board until January 2013. Before joining Jennison, he spent 13 years at JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management, where he last held the positions of vice chairman and chief fiduciary officer. Prior to joining JP Morgan in 1990, he was a vice president in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs.
Mr. Kass is vice chairman of the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) Board of Trustees, originally appointed to the Board in February 2009. He is a member of the FAF’s Finance and Compensation and Executive committees.
Retired Georgia State Treasurer
W. Daniel Ebersole was appointed to the Financial Accounting Foundation Board of Trustees in January 2012, and serves on the Finance and Compensation and Standard-Setting Process Oversight Committees. He is also an ex officio member of the Appointments and Evaluations Committee when Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) appointments are being considered.
Prior to joining the Board of Trustees, Mr. Ebersole enjoyed a distinguished 30-year career with the state of Georgia, where he served in a number of leadership positions. Prior to his most recent position as senior advisor to the lieutenant governor, he was the state treasurer, where he was responsible for the receipt, investment, accounting, and disbursement of state general, trust and custodial funds, and certain federal funds.
Teresa S. Polley was appointed president of the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) in May 2008, and was subsequently promoted to the role of President and chief executive officer in 2010. She brings over 20 years of experience with FAF and the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) to the position.
Prior to her appointment, Ms. Polley served as executive director of Advisory Groups for the FASB. In this role, she was primary liaison between the Board and its constituent organizations that provide input into its decision-making processes.
Jodi P. Dottori has served as vice president and assistant secretary of the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) since January 2009. He was appointed to the role of chief of staff of the Foundation in April 2010, after serving four years as its general counsel.
Ronald P. Guerrette was appointed vice president of the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) in 2006. Among other responsibilities, Mr. Guerrette oversees all Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) publishing and website development, and the FAF's information technology department.
